For example, research has shown that video content can influence language use, language attitudes, and language identity (Giles, 2003; Tagliamonte, 2012). Other studies have examined the role of video content in shaping cultural norms, values, and practices (Hall, 2005; Jenkins, 2006). However, few studies have focused specifically on the Albanian language and culture.
The rise of video content on social media and online platforms has significantly impacted the way we consume and interact with information. In Albania, the increasing popularity of video content has led to a growing interest in understanding its effects on the Albanian language and culture. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of video content in Albania, its impact on the Albanian language and culture, and the challenges and opportunities that arise from this trend.
