At first, nothing seemed to happen. But as the patch began to take effect, Groteus's massive body began to shrink, her strength waning as the Kragnir Stone's power was disrupted. The Pact watched in awe as the giantess slowly dwindled down to a mere fraction of her original size, now standing at a relatively modest 5 stories tall.

However, not all ascensions were intimidated by Groteus's size and strength. A group of three ascensions, known as the Pact of the Ancients, had grown tired of Groteus's bullying and decided to take action. Her skin was a deep, earthy brown, and her hair was a wild tangle of black locks that cascaded down her back like a waterfall of night. For years, she had bullied and intimidated the other ascensions, using her immense power to get what she wanted.

The Pact discovered that Groteus's power was fueled by a magical artifact known as the Kragnir Stone, which was embedded in her forehead. The stone was the source of her strength, and without it, she would be significantly weakened. The Pact decided to create a patch that would disrupt the stone's energy, rendering Groteus powerless.
